    860 Map problem

    Hi

I have a TomTom Rider 2 with the 2 GB card. I have downloaded the various Map Zones for Western & Central Europe (860.3100), patched the Navcore (version 7.901) and generated the relevant .dct file for the first map (East). When I switch on the TomTom all I get is the No Maps Found message.

Any help would be much appreciated - what I really want to do is get a set of SD cards with each zone on so that I can easily switch while travelling between countries.

You must also patch the Navcore . PNDNavigator or ttsystem.

Odd. I'd used yDGpatch to patch the Navcore and RunMeforDCT.cmd to patch the map and it didn't work. Have just used Albert's Easy Activator for both the Navcore and map and it's worked fine!

Should have thought a bit more before posting the question, but my Go 700 for the car has always worked fine with yDGpatch and RunMeforDCT.cmd.

    Cheers

I've successfully put the East and West Europe regions on separate SD cards using Easy Activator, but I can't get South to work with either Albert's Easy Activator or yDGpatch.

Any ideas what I can try next?

Thanks for the quick reply. Still get the 'no maps found' for Europe South, but Europe East and Europe West work fine! Even tried a re-format and re-install of the patched Navcore.

Yep, have just wiped the card and re-installed everything, patched the NavCore and regenerated the meta file. All works now!! Only thing is that TomTom Home doesn't say I have the latest version of the map, just 'no information available', but it does for the West and East.

    Anywhere, all OK now.

It was correct, but all OK now, see my response to hobbiter.
