    Power supply voltage

    Hi
Can anybody tell me for definite if I can use my Tomtom power supply unit with 24v system ( Coach ) it is marked as 12v-24v but as most systems actually run at around 26v-27v when charging, or will I need a dropper as there is no 12v supply.
    Thanks

I have been using TomToms for a couple of years now in heavy trucks with 24v systems and have had no problems using the 24v sockets. I think the surge produced when charging is taken into account when these chargers are built.

Thanks for the speedy reply this put my mind at ease for the first try as all previous vehicles I have driven have had a 12v socket fitted.
