Unhappy Download timeout...slow download from the download area?

    Hi,
I have tried to download a 2gb map from the download area several times but it is very slow, and I get a timeout that terminates the download.. any idea what to do?

Why in the world are you downloading from the download area? First of all, the maps there are older than the ones you can download elsewhere on GPSU and secondly, the area has not been updated for a very long time. in fact almost a year.
But maybe some ADMIN is going to update it very soon.....hopefully.

Hi, why? because I dont know better.. thought it was strange that there was no tutorials and nothing there...but, could you please post a link to where else we can download from GPSU?
Also I see that you have a HTC with navigation, I have a HTC Gratia (Similar to mini HD) any hope that you can point me in the right direction for where to find matching nav and maps and stuff :-)

Ok....that is fair enough c",) .......if you want to download maps for your TT, you go here

    TomTom Maps

If you want Navigon for your HTC, you go here

    Navigon 2.6.1 for Android

Maps for the above are found in the Navigon maps area.

    Good luck
