Post [HELP] Booting TomTom ONE v2 from SD

    Hello

I'd like to boot my TomTom ONE v2 (App 7.903) from an SD card (a simple SD 2GB 60x).

I copied all the files from TomTom internal memory into the SD card (everything, including 2 map folders and ttsystem).

When I insert the SD card though (TomTom is detached from USB), it does not boot... it gets stuck on a graphic message showing an SD card getting off TomTom and with an animated red cross on it.

What does it mean? What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you !

Wich bootloader you have ? Start your TT en hold the startbutton down. After a wile you get a black/white info screen. On that infoscreen your find your bootloader.

Hi , I got this from the info screen (not sure if it was the black/white one you said though... 'cause if I hold the start button down, it just will start or shut down the TT):

    App 7.903 (9183/081205) OS:2344
    29MB RAM (free: 8.2MB)
    GPS v1.21, Boot 5.3029

    Thanks I'll try!
Is the bootloader version 5.3029 correct to support SD booting?

    NEGATIVE
if I push reset while the "red cross over SD card" message is displayed, it does not work, it wont boot

and oh If I push in the SD while TOMTOM is connected to my computer via USB cable, Windows Explorer see the "External Disk" but when I click on it, it gets stuck and will never read it, it says "Enter a disk"....

I updated bootloader version and now did format SDHC to FAT32, and it works!! (The 2GB SD card - no SDHC- still does not work, but who cares!)
    Thank you very much!
