Question about free ram on TomTom GPS

Hey Everyone. Just have a quick question.

I have a TomTom GO 130 S, and it has a 1GB hard drive and 32MB of Ram.

I have the latest v865.3261 map on it, and it is working.

Right now, I'm running the 8.410 Navcore, and I have 4.5 MB of Ram free, and it seems to be running fairly well.

Before that, I tried the 9.205 and 9.051 Navcores, and they froze. It had less than 1 MB of Ram free. My question is.... On a device that has 32MB of Ram, what would the optimal amount of free space be? The more ram that's free, the faster it will run?

Another question is, would I be able to go to a higher Navcore?

    Thanks everyone....
