Foehn& Hirsch (Navigo?) widescreen. Kudos maps but no TomTom working.

Just bought this from Ebuyer.com for £44.99. Widescreen and will take an 8g micro card. I have loaded the card with a known working TomTom package but all I get is the message 'not enough memory'. I have adjusted the memory in the unit to give its maximum of 5mb but still no response.
I put in an old IGO8 package and that fires up straight away and works fine.
I have had the TT maps done with 'Albert's' meta checker.
Does it mean this unit will not work with TT software?
    Thanks to all who respond.
    John.

seem to remember similar problem with my Navigo 4.3 and ended up deleting files from TT folder.
Try deleting all unwanted voice files and also go to .../art/cars folder and delete all but one car and one arrow.
