    TomTom Go Live 750 rebooting

    Hi all

We have 2 of these which reboot randomly. One was almost out of warranty so after speaking to tom tom support who couldnt help sent it back and they replaced the unit.

Put the latest 8.65 europe map onto it using the 9011 navcore that was on it. Still rebooting randomly and now out of warranty.

Can anyone help me please - there must be an answer to this - someone suggested perhaps something to do with the mapsettings file ?? surely cant be the 8.65 map ?

    Thanks - Geoff

Hi mate - good to see you on here now !

Will try that again but thats what I had on it before I sent it back to them - but not tried on the replacement as had seen advise that might be worth going to an older version thats why I left on it what they sent

    Regards

    Geoff

    Hi

Just googled and found this Navcore which not offered by Home and apparantly sorts issues with 9.058 - any thoughts on this ?? not sure if its a different bootloader though ?

    Cheers

Ok will try that - havent heard of clearflash will find that and try it. The map is too bog for internal so using a sandisk 4gb microsd - is it worth trying a different make type ?

    Thanks

Have run the clearflash and will try putting the Navcore on the internal with the original map as you suggest -

    Thanks

Yes, I had a similar problem with mine. You will find it is one or more files in one or more map directories are corrupt. If you remove them and them reinstall, it should sort you out.
