Unable to install cracked maps on TOMTOm XL

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a tomtom XL and i downloaded a cracked map from this site

When I copied this map onto my tomtom XL and connected it to tomtom home, it says that i need to activate this map before I can use it and is asking me for an activation code

can someone please help me?

A quick simple read in the Tutorials will find this thread Simplified instructions for activation of maps.
For 'Activations' look in Open Tools and Tweaks, Alberts Easy Activator is easy to use.
Sometimes people have to do a little work which Yuri is hinting at. The information is all here, just six months ago I could not do this, reading this site now I can.

Yes, Yuri can be direct and to the point with people who 'want everything on a plate', in the beginning I found this to my own cost and vowed never to return to the site, but I am still here!
