I just dont understand how this software works. I got to tomtom apps, Turkey and Europe. I want to add Turkey to the Europe app, so i dont need to change apps all the time.
How do i do this? Is there a tutorial or something?

Does the iPhone produce a .bif file alternative of any sort? Or does it use something different?
Just trying to understand it a bit more....
Also I get device id but what serial does it use?

Concerning the compatibility of maps, it is said the maps have to be compatible with navcore 8.300. I create, with the automatic method, an appli with Western /Central europe 890.4222 and it works perfectly.
According to the compatibility chart, this map is NOT compatible.

Does this means, the map has to be AT LEAST compatible with navcore 8.300?

Thank you very much Mopi. Big thanks!
The installation was virtually perfect. I needed to add the new Polish super highways for Euro 2012 because Tomtom left most of them out of the last release.
All that went wrong was that the built-in keygen didn't understand the UK olympic stadium files in the new 890 version of Western and Central 2GB Europe 571.
And that wherever I put the meta.txt file the ipa generator did not find it.
But so nice that you added instructions in the GUI to tell me this and to recommend renaming the ipa to a zip, unzipping the archive and placing the meta license act file in the archive.
Really thorough of you. (For the olympic park issue, just delete / exclude the files):
Live_Site.bmp
Live_Site.ov2
Live_Site.rpf
Olympic_Park.bmp
Olympic_Park.ov2
Olympic_Park.rpf
Park_and_Ride.bmp
Park_and_Ride.ov2
Park_and_Ride.rpf
Stadium.bmp
Stadium.ov2
Stadium.rpf
Finally, can I ask if you have an old tom-tom 1.7 ipa generator available, even if buggy?
I like most have an old iPhone stuck on iOS 3.1.3 and I wanted to repurpose that to be a GPS with the car kit we own. (We did purchase the car kit and Europe ipa back at 1.4.1)
Tomtom stripped iOS 3.x out of version 1.8 of their software I believe, leaving us stuck.
Thanks very much,
Tony.
Do you have sound and correctly working POI's with 890.4222 ?
I find if I build this map into my Tom Tom Europe 1.10.app I can't hear any sound.
Plus, the POI's don't display correctly on the map.
I compare this to WCE 890.4234 and this map works perfectly. Browse Map shows automatically selected POT's like gas stations etc. It's just missing IQ Routes and Lane Images from the Settings > Advanced menu as they are not built into the map.
So I think 890.4222 is no good for the iOS application.

Correction on my last post. Mopi detailed an audio bug in the plist file which was overcome by just going into the audio settings and switching on and moving right the audio fade bar for voices when playing background music.
As soon as I adjusted this bar, the audio could now be heard.
I too can now confirm that map 890.4222 works correctly with the Tom Tom 1.10 ipa.
IQ, lane navigation, map share and house numbers all seem to be working. Raster for Eastern Russia and China appears missing though when I zoom out the map.
I see why Tom Tom implemented raster now since you watch the map build quickly over the raster images then really slowly on the non-covered areas. Drawing all those roads, POI's and ground details takes way too much time without raster.
The only real issue is the speed cameras not working which is detailed in the maverick post on speed camera updates.
It seems, when I enable either UK premium or UK tom-tom speed cameras, it crashes the POI system and no POI's are displayed on my map. As soon as I disable the speed cameras, the other POI's magically appear.
Hope this helps.

I confirm I have no problem with the 890.4222 maps.
The speed cams are working as usual, except in France. This is due to the latest Tomtom Navcore, and to version 1.10 for Iphone/Ipod; this to comply with the french law.
To overcome this, when driving in France, I create a French map with 1.8 generator.
I don't know about speedcams in the UK. Any special regulation about them like in France, germany, Switzerland?
