TomTom ttn7.918.9183 QVGA/WQVGA seems to be original, just with MapPatch. Needs to be patched to work on generic PDA devices. Address is probably : 0x002E8874

    Re: Latest Navcores !!

when using a win mobile phone and using internal gps only is it best to install the tomtom version that has NO bluetooth support? the file size for the NON BT versions seems to be smaller so could it be it uses up less memory and is faster?

    Re: Latest Navcores !!

slybunda : as far as I understand the BT files bundled with TomTom "BT" versiona are not needed for functionality, even not for BT GPS.
I think it is ment as upgrade of "old" BT stack on some "older" devices, and it may actualy cause problems on other devices.
So I personaly prefere only update the executable and datafile, without realy installing the BT upgrade files.

from windows directory, check if following files are ROM files, and if not delete them (or for safety move to another dir), then reboot your HTC immediatelly : BtCoreIf.dll , BtSdkCE30.dll , ttn6bt2003.dll
on my PDA HP iPAQ 214 (not phone, regular PDA) I this way recovered the original ROM files, overwritten by the TT cab installation, and BT started to work OK again.

Got the 917 version (upgraded from 916) no changes.. same bugs

    got HTC HD
Every time i turn Tom Tom on.. it starts with speakers on mute..
the only time i got proper start is after I restart the machine.. and it only does it on first start of tomtom...
any subsequent start gets the speaker on mute..
