Compatible Chart 900 Maps by ingazu

From the new compatibility chart I learn with surprise that 4617 maps run on a PDA. 4617 are the Android maps. Can this work? Has anybody ever done it? I

yes its true. They are full compatible with TT 1.1!

I am also wondering too how to see if maps are also for Android... for example map v 901.479 wich should have fixes importants...

Simple. 9.00.4617/9.00.4683 are not included in compatibilty map and is not clear what are the features/navcores compatible.

I've Tomtom XL.
It had Navcode v8.017
I deleted everthing to update navcore, recent version of Tomtome Home re-installed the software and then upgraded it.. finally I got version 8.010 which is oldest..
So I deleted everything again and installed 901.4679 it works good with Benelux 900.4602
Did I good or shall I use a better way to get a stable navcore and recent maps?

Incorrect! The 4608 map IS compatible with TT7 Windows CE.

Your statement "does not work" doesn't help us at all. "No map found" error usually means it can't find the map, so you probably have not installed it correctly.

Just to confirm: 4608 works brilliantly with TT for Windows Mobile ..... - I´m currently running it without any problems!

Please check your link. That link is for the 4610 map, not the 4608 map.
There is no meta for the 4610 map - that's why you couldn't activate the map.
