Hi

How I can use v.905 maps with TomTom on Android?

I have the same question as above. I can see there is a map folder just like on a stand-alone TomTom device so it appears that copying over a map could work but does anyone know for certain that this would work and which map version to use? Btw I'm using UK and ROI maps. Current map version is 900.4617

I think you can try with 905.4754 maps, but have to create the DCT file with meta code for UK & ROI 905.4754 and the device ID of your android software, if you don't now software ID than just wait and contro the android section till someone post the "already working" software and map for android.

I have a question:
There are 2 versions of Western Europe which deserve comparison:



The recommended version is the 4754 with Cspeech, but don't you think it's strange the fact datas seem to be less important. it looks like Cspeech is here but at the cost of other information.

Any thoughts ?

You compare Europe_West and Western_Europe.

These 2 maps are differents and don't cover the same list of countries.

I used this meta.dct file on my HTC One X but it still says: You cannot use this map on this device. I copied the file into europe folder.

Could you please advise.
