    This i why they have orther modelnumbers...

    TomTom North America yesterday introduced two new devices TomTom GO 2405 and 2505. These US-only devices have the hardware and software features of the TomTom GO LIVE 1000 and 1005 (launched in Europe) but without the real-time LIVE services. TomTom is however providing lifetime traffic information through RDS TMC with these devices – as well as four free map updates."


    No LIVE services!!!!

    Can these devices run patched navcores and downloaded maps? I've heard the new tomtoms don't show up as drives in windows so I'm wondering...

    There is no way to get in the device,s yet. So you cant change anything
