Re: Specs overview
I guess there must be the following models in the x50-family: 550, 550 GO, 550 GO Live, 750, 750 GO, 750 GO Live, 950, 950 GO and 950 GO Live
What is the difference between GO 550 Live, GO 750 Live, GO 950 Live?
According to Excel-sheet, I can only make out the following differences:
550 = 1 GB, 750 = 2 GB and 950 = 4 GB.
EPT? no/yes? to which models? and what IS EPT?
What difference is there between 750 and 750 GO?, and what difference is there between 750 GO and 750 GO Live?
And is these differences the same in 550-family and the 950-family?
And then the goold old question: in the sheet it´s stated that RDS/TMC is YES to all x50 GO Live models.
Will this mean that if you opt not to buy the annual Live Services, then the RDS/TMC will still function? (though not as Live services!).

Re: Specs overview
Someone said there are no dumb questions …..
So I’ll try to give some answers
“I guess there must be the following models in the x50-family: 550, 550 GO, 550 GO Live, 750, 750 GO, 750 GO Live, 950, 950 GO and 950 GO Live”
You guessed wrong. There is no such thing as a ‘550’ ,nor ‘750’ etc …
Please show me one and prove me wrong
“What is the difference between GO 550 Live, GO 750 Live, GO 950 Live?

Correct.
And different navcores/maps when bought.
But as we all know how to change navcores, its not on the sheet.
“EPT? no/yes? to which models? and what IS EPT?”
ETP stands for Enhanced Positioning Technology.
It offers navigation without gps signals - e.a. long tunnels
These devices have an accelerometer/gyroscope.
“What difference is there between 750 and 750 GO?”
Please refer to the first answer.
“, and what difference is there between 750 GO and 750 GO Live?”
There is only a GO750 Live, and if you don’t know what ‘live’ stands for in the tomtom world
…. Look it up
“And is these differences the same in 550-family and the 950-family?”
I give up.
“And then the goold old question: in the sheet it´s stated that RDS/TMC is YES to all x50 GO Live models.

Means you can hook up a rds/tmc cable.
And yes, it will work without live services.

That is not correct - my father in law has a 750 Go (without Live) - I have connectde to TomTom Home and also looked up the serial number - it is NOT a GO !!

I need to replace the touch screen glass and I only know it is a 4.3 inch display. Plese if you know a part number for this display and touchscreen or a store for tomtom replacements I would be very gratefull. Or even a support email from tomtom. On tomtom.com there is no contact details or support form.. Thanks.. I attach a few pictures to see what is about...
