What navcore you installed.
I have a TT Start and I formatted the device before installing the new NavCore, I installed the NavCore and now after putting the date and time is reset only helps ..
thx
What navcore you installed.
I have 2 of these that have the same symptom. The Causes on mine definitely are:
Start Device #1: Bad Internal Memory (Bad Sectors)
Start Device #2: Motherboard\Antenna Problem
If your Device has model number 1EX00 and has Navcore 8.544 on it its probably same as my #1 Device. Try putting version 9.057 manually. If it locks up with version 9.057 at the start screen after this Id say this is the problem...but....
If your Device Can get to the Satellite Info\Configure screen at all look in the top right Corner at the yellow and black circle. If it is not spinning you have a mainboard problem and no amount of formatting it and playing with navcores or bootloaders is going to fix it.
As a last resort you can try disconnecting the battery and plugging in and booting up powered by USB only. I have seen one that had a battery so dead it was causing the device to reboot even when plugged into USB.
I still think its bad sectors on the internal memory though. In that case its time to find another working one. Its cheaper than fixing it....
Hello
Is it possible to format the hard drive of the Tomtom Start20 to delete the navcore 10 and put in place a navcore of the Go740 or Go750?
And so to connect the tomtom start20 to the computer with no encryption and be able to patch in order to put new maps?
the model is 5.5274 bootloader 1EX00 tomtom start, and tried to NavCore 5057 but remains frozen with the boot image
solution?
thx

You cannot install another navcore on a Tomtom Start20.
