You should have put this post in the General Discussions forum!
rotsun will no doubt delete it but in the meantime....
I assume your ONE XL has a SD card slot.
To allow your ONE XL to accept SDHC cards you need to have a bootloader of 5.5XXX or above.
I recommend bootloader 5.5120 as a safe option. https://rapidshare.com/files/7471260...oot_5.5120.zip
Extract and place in the root directory of your current SD card.
Re-boot your device and you should now be able to read SDHC memory cards.

thanks for info tried it but still wont work,do you mean remove current bootloader from tomtom card, replace with 5.5xxx switch on switch off remove card,i am trying to get truck sat to work but its just not working, all i get is picture of card with red cross, any help much appreciated thanks mark.
Plug your unit into your pc
Put the 5.5120 system file either on your existing SD card or into the internal memory of your device.
Unplug and reboot your unit (this will install the 5.5120 bootloader to enable SDHC cards to be used)
This is what I would put on your SDHC card if you want to run from the SDHC card only.
1. Your navcore.
2. Your ttgo.bif file
3. Your map.
4. A copy of FastActivate to activate your navcore, map, voices etc (place on the card for ease of use)
Plug your SDHC card into your unit and then connect to the pc.
Run FastActivate by pressing each button from left to right, this will update the Meta file and enable the navcore (may already be activated), the map/speed cams etc and TomTom Home.
Reboot your device
All should now be working from the SDHC card.
many thanks for reply,
1.where is navcore,
2.whats fast activate,
3.and i cant access the internal memory.
1. The navcore is in the internal memory of the device.
2. FastActivate information here FastActivate
Program link here http://gpsunderground.com/forum/atta...n_v184.108.40.206.rar
3. You access the internal memory by linking your device to the pc using a USB cable. When connected, open up windows explorer and you should see your device as an additional drive called TomTom or similar. Click on this drive and you will see the files on your device. This is where you should place the 5.5120 bootloader file called system.
Refer back to my previous post and then follow the instructions.
When you have loaded the new bootloader, move to the next stage.
Plug in the SDHC card.
Connect your device to the pc again using the USB cable and copy all the files from your device onto the SDHC card.
Your unit should now see the SDHC card.

When I insert sdhc to tomtom, then tomtom want to eject this card. Without card tomtom boot normaly, but without map, because I have only 1GB internal storage. Can you advice me please? Thank you.
