    I have a Tomtom One New version (4N00.012) how i can install on it? I tried to install with new 2GB memory card, I started tomtom Home, this app install as "New Application" v6.5, so i tried to format the SD and i copied the content of rar file, but the device freezing on startup screen. What is the detailed method of installation?

    Follow the tutorial below, leaving out steps 4 & 5 and instead copy pasting all the files of the navcore into the root of the SD card. Then continue with the rest of the tutorial:

    It is not working, When I start the device after copy, his shows only the tomtom logo, and nothing else... I have old bootloader? or what is the problem?
    In his original card I found ttgo.bif:

    DeviceName=TomTom ONE
    DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v4)
    DeviceSerialNumber=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    DeviceUniqueID=XXXXXXXXX
    RamDiskVersion=20081205
    BootLoaderVersion=53029
    LinuxVersion=2344
    ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
    ApplicationVersion=9183

    Re: Navcores 9.061 & 9.170 for 32Mb ONE models [by mark cat]

    Installed navcore 9.170 on my One XL (4S00.000R) and it basically runs fine with map Benelux 890.4222.
    Only problem is GPS, this takes some 4-5 minutes to connect.
    Copied setconfig.txt and version.txt from my version 8.5 but no luck.
    After restart setconfig.txt has been changed and line noqfixdel has been removed.
    Also form folder EPHEM the file lto.dat has been removed.
    Anyone any ideas?

    You may as well grab this bootloader 5.5136 and copy paste it onto the 2GB SD card, together with the navcore. It is safe to use on all ONE models.

    (Attachment below).

    Make sure the battery is fully charged. Boot your device and wait while it updates the bootloader.

    Then try the above mentioned tutorial again. It has to work with a clean install, including a clean new map! There is no reason why it won't work, unless you aren't following the steps correctly

    Thank for all!

    Got 9.170 working on my old One XL-S (64mb) and 890 map. However, when using TTHome "operate my XL" in order to get my mapsettings.cfg to work, It wanted to d/l a new file and after that it said it could not use the map.

    Map works fine on the device though. Missing something?

    NM - Since I'm using a new navcore, TTHome downloaded a new DLL. Patched it with yDGPatch and all good.

    Waw, installed it on my Tomtom One V4 the other day and it works great. It is actually FASTER than the stock 8.010 I had! Used it a bit to navigate around my hometown and absolutely no freezes or other bugs whatsoever. My Tomtom now has a new life... many thanks
