Thank you for the tip, you mean not update the bootloader? so copy all the files of the 8.562 SE Navcore for 32Mb ONE models to the device and delete the system file?
I already tried to update by extracing all files out of the .rar but the tomtom is freezing on the orange screen, did a full reset didnt work. now im going to try with deleting the system if its not already to late.
**Update* deleted the system file, still freezing on the orange screen but now with a blue bar.

Found the answer on different forum:
If you have a Tomtom with the bootloader version number starting with 1.xxx instead of 5.xxx you have a special system and should never attempt to change your bootloader! (exception: bootloader 1.0012 is OK for updating.)
It is most likely that you have a special Navcore version as well - 8.041
Other Navcores won't work on your device the progress bar will stop at the end end the devices freezes.
The only way to use non genuine maps on these devices is by using a specially patched PNDNavigator for for the 8.041 Navcore.
Don't try to patch the ttsystem or the PNDNavigator file yourselft it won't work and the ttsystem does not need any patching.
Only the new PDA maps will work as you need at least Navcore 8.2xx for the full featured maps.
The bootloaders 1.0100 and 1.0200 are designed for devices with a "bug" in the filesystem or the GPS hardware.
Tomtom has provided this "quick" fix to be able to sell these units (most of them being ONE V8 models) without sending them back to the headquarter in Holland.
*I will just stick with my 8.041 bootloader 1.0102 Europe_1GB_north_890.4234 i dont see a other change

1 - mostly bootloaders like 1.xxxx won't let you change them, but if they will - nothing will you loose.
2 - you can try to change nc, but as we know - perhaps it won't work due to improper bootloader, so - if #1 fails, no sense in #2
3 - can you share your bootloader_1.0102 to us? It sleeps in file 'system' - if you'll finf it on your device - plz share it to me (have 1.0100 & 1.0103 in my collection, but no 1.102)

em? What mean "freeze" - bootloader won't upgrade, or device freeze after update? Nevertheless - you ALWAYS can check up which bootloader you have via 'long switch on' and entering engineering screen
