Re: How to get maximum available RAM on small devices
This is working well on my Go 300. The free memory has went up from 4,5 MB to 10MB after installing this and the device is noticeably faster! Thanks uploader!
Is there anyway of getting the MP3 player back on it as I use my TT for listening to audio books?
Would putting the MP3 player back on use up lots of memory?
Thanks.

Re: How to get maximum available RAM on small devices
Hi bmwdriver+,
Thanks for a great Navcore 8.545 I have this running on my ageing GO300 in oneiq emulation with Loquendo 7.3 installed and anything from 7.5meg to 10.2meg free. My Bootloader is 5.5242 and the whole thing appears to be pretty stable.
I did try patching my own version with DSA Tool and managed to get 12Meg free with the same setup....The only thing wrong with it the power button would not work and the DSA off menu option switched it off but you had to press the reset button to get it on again...

Re: How to get maximum available RAM on small devices
Both links dead, I'm interested to try this
I have a tomtom xl 330s TTS,
It would be cool to have iq routes and things like that, but I dont think there's a map download that has those for my 1gb dev
So as long as I can get my TTS, latest maps, corections and speedcams, I'm happy
I'm running a 9.205 SE navcore right now,
Emu x50, (tried x40, x40light2.3, ori, x40light)
bton
fmoff
delgns
noautooutsource
The best I can get is 4mb
so, if your map can keep those features, and make my tomtom not lag, I'll be a happy camper

Re: How to get maximum available RAM on small devices
So my tt Go classic will work faster with another NC than my 9.061? Or is this one good enough?

Re: How to get maximum available RAM on small devices
Hi,
I have a smallscreen One V3 with 32MB of RAM & SD Slot.
I've installed NavCore 9.061 with the latest 905.4754 Europe Maps (2.36GB).
How should i finetune this TomTom to make it as fast as possible?
Should i remove ASR/CSpeech files? Where do i find them?
From my previous backup i've found a file called setconfig.txt with these settings:
model:x40light
changedtext:TomTom ONE
usesetting
btoff
fmoff
ttsoff
delgns
Can i re-use this file?
Just copy & paste into my new installation?
With the present configuration, i've also seen that the battery is deflating extremely fast.
I guess it's because the device won't shut down completely, but goes in some 'sleep' mode....
How can i fix this?
Thanks !
Regards,
Danny from Belgium.
