You can use any activatior for maps you like. I always use Alberts_EasyActivator because I'm used to it but maybe for you the easiest is Fastactivate I think.

hi.thanks,have downloaded and activate maps,its working ,the only problem it wont connect to my tomtom mk2 bluetooth gps,the bluetooth is connected to the computer .do i need specific gps ? thanks

Bluetooth from your computer wont connect to the TomTom only with a proper telephone.

I think it is only possible to use an internal GPS which can be connected to a com port.

internal gps ?.from a mobile phone or something?wich phone is compatible as i tried my t-mobile android phone but dont work

No, I mean an internal GPS in a computer. I have an old HP Ipaq mobile phone with internal GPS and installed the same TomTom version as been used on TomTom Pc. And this also is using the com port and works very well.

could you enlight me pls.i thought you can use Symarctic ExtGPS installed on a mobile phone and use the programm to connectthe built in gps with the computer as a gps .im totally lost now.
