nevermind m8,looks like i have to use sygic on my laptop,its strange tho sygic will connect to my bluetooth gps ant tom tom doesnt .

thanks robmar but i have it on my pc already ,the problem is i cant figure out how to use my bluetooth gps to make it working

Start TomTom Navigator
the first page in the settings menu
GPS receiver
Select the Bluetooth receiver
with the number com port

i have the tomtom bluetooth gps set on com40 ,that what it tells me the bluetooth manager,but in the device manager under com ports the com 40 says toshiba bt port (com 40).when i choose the bluetooth gps in tomtom gps setting i get no gps found.that could be the problem?

I want it work on my Laptop , as a Back-Up Nav system.
