ephemeris files are downloaded and extracted in the application folder 'ephem', then Expiry is corrected in 'ee_meta.txt'. If your TomTom is connected they are copied to the proper folder of your TomTom if you click on 'Copy Files'.
If a type of TomTom is not referenced try to look into the folder 'ephem' of the TomTom (or Carminat).
- If 'packedephemeris.ee' exists it is a SIRF Star GPS.
- If 'lto.dat' exists it is a Global Locate GPS.
If you can't see the folder 'ephem' forgot this tool.
Ok for SIRF Star GPS.
GPS Quick fix gives me 2 files: "ee_meta" and "packedephemeris.ee", but in my Carminat 'ephem' there is another file "ee_meta.tlv".
What i do with this file?
Heya, Noob here. I've tried this and cannot get it to work.. I keep getting a device ID error/Not connected.
I've got an Go Live 820 HD. When I install the web diagnostic and update app it shows connected and updates fine.. However with Home 2 it will not show connected no matter what I'm doing. It's all fresh downloads of software and I've gone through and allowed permissions and even set compatability more to Win 7.. (on the Win 8 machine).
