    Tripmaster

    Hi,
I'd like to share with you this tool I've been using for a while on my TomTom GO 630.

Basically it allows you to track your trip (so that you can view it on Google Earth for example!), to have a compass, to check average speed, etc.

Are there maybe other similar tools you're using?

    Thanks!

    Re: Tripmaster

I have this tool on my TT One 3rd Edition. The current version works well with it. I use it mainly for recording my travels so I can later see what kind of time I make on specific routes.

    Re: Tripmaster

    Good idea.
So far I'm using a navcore for motorbikes as you will find this fully integrated. I have it installed on a simple Tomtom One that you can just leave in the car you want to track.
When I'm finished tracking and I want to see my tracks I use ITN-converter to exchange it in a Google maps link. The simple ITN file taken from the Tomtom will open a link.

    I give you an example:

    https://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=...50464&dirflg=s

    Quite impressive isn't it!

I don't want to steal your threat but if someone knows how I can get the above but with live data I would be very interested...

Not sure I understood what you mean... what do you mean by "live data"?

With live data I mean to say that I look for ways to get this data as it happens.

Basically what I want is live tracking data.

Pretty soon I will experiment with a OBD2 plug with gps, gprs. You can get it for less than 100 euro and only need to get software running with it. As it than has nothing to do anymore with TomTom I guess here is not the right place to discuss it. However if someone has experience with it please let me know.
