OP link updated, new version 3 January 2012 released:
New: a long overdue fix, the initial skin (mode) selection can be set by user, eventually by using keys TAB and back TAB (shift+TAB).
It's been a trivial enhancement, regrettably overlooked until now.
As before, no skin selection means initial mode Self, and all known skins to the Skin Chooser button are also available.
The help and list of cabinets have been updated too.
