You guys had my hopes up with the Mac app but the lack of instructions on how to activate the maps make this thread completely useless.
Tried on two different pc laptops and both fail to launch Runmeforallautomatics.cmd (I get an error 'was unexpected at this time').
So I'm stuck on the pc since I can't properly use the cmd files and well, there are no Mac solution it seems.
For MAC there's only one version now. You must first apply proper access rights to file before launching it from command line.
There's no 'Runmeforallautomatics.cmd' in MAC version - it's for Win only.
ok here are the instructions on how to use the file on mac os, first download the file and save it on your desktop, open terminal and type:
1) cd Desktop
2) sudo chmod 777 tt8_keygen
3) sudo ./tt8_keygen
and then just follow instructions from there.

the files for Linux is deleted.
For linux users:
Unpack the tt8 activator in a dir and place a valid Meta.txt in the same.
Make executable tt8_keygen if it still not.
Place the map files in a directory (extract from .rar or .zip if necessary). Ok you're ready to go!
Open a terminal in the tt8_keygen directory and type the command line...
./tt8_keygen 'map path' 'DeviceID' '8 or 7'
'map path' is the COMLETE path of the map directory
'DeviceID' DeviceId of your device (no space between)
'8 or 7' 8 for 8.xx maps 7 for the 7.xx map serie.
Thats all!
If all proceed a .dct was created in the map dir and simply copy all in the TomTom.
I have tested on a openSUSE 11.3.
There is only MAC binary file where is a UNIX/Linux binary file ?
Hi, when i run this all seems ok until
Can not open keyfile './Meta.txt'
'United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-421.meta' - processing ERROR
Any clues to whats wrong?
