TomTom devices - How to convert POI's to Favorites?

Hello,

Could you please tell me if there is a tool or easy workaround to convert (import) Favourites POI's (Favourites.ov2) to Favorites (stored in MapSettings.cfg)?

I've tried PoiEdit2007, POI Editor for TomTom 2.1.4.8 and Easyusetools but with no luck.

P.S. : I should add that I wanted to recover my previous MapSettings.cfg and copy/paste it in the new map directory but it caused my device to freeze and autoreboot. (Many users reported the same issue after doing those steps).

Because of the problems transferring them between devices, this would not be a good idea.

I suggest that you continue with the POIs .....
