I could sure use some help please.
I have a GO 730. App 8.351, Boot 5.5120 with Europe Truck 880_3845. The problems I have with Europe Truck 880.3845 are as follows. Firstly, I cannot enter full postcodes, only the first couple of digits, for example if I wish to enter N18 6BX the unit will only allow me to enter N18. Secondly, the "Car preferences" is greyed out so I am unable to enter vehicle dimensions. And last but not least the touch screen sensitivity is all over the place. Sometimes just a mere touch will change the menu and other times I have to press quite hard and sometimes several times for the screen to change. Other times it will skip several screens with just one touch.
Help with any or all of the matters above will make a sad and despondent trucker happy and cheerful again and perhaps even keen to go back to work on the 3rd!.
Your postcode problem is easily sorted by getting yourself the zip file holding the codes from here or here.
Car preferences WILL be greyed out as you are not running a truck navcore. Have a look in the "Tomtom truck section" on this forum for what you need.
Your screen sensitivity I don't know. Some would say that you have dirt under the edge of your screen and they run a card underneath. Do a search on this subject on this forum as I know that I have seen several referances to it.

Yes this could be dirt under the edge of your screen which you can try to clean by running the corner of a business card around the screen edge under the bezel. It could also be a calibration problem. I have posted some info on how to address this but it is not a simple task. PM me for more details if you need them. Finally, it could be that you have too many unnecessary files installed. This uses up RAM and leads to the device moving hesitantly from screen to screen. Check to see how much free RAM you have and if necessary, remove files which are not required. This will speed up screen response.
PS Maybe the mods could move this thread to a more suitable location.
