TomTom XXL Truck Navcore 9.700 Works!!

Hello Friends,
sorry for my poor English...I hope my Thread will help you.
I have a TomTom XXL (IQ) Navcore 9.4xx (2nd Edition?) Western Europe with 2GB Internal Storage (No SD Slot!)
I've tried to install Truck 8.39x (x00, x10..., x50) of all types, but TT freezes on splash screen...
Here is the solution: download Truck Navcore 9.700 GOx official version -> TRUCK Navcore 9.700 Official Version
Patch ttsystem using YDGPatch, copy all to internal storage but dont copy ASR, Loquendo, fleetecd, license folders.
Download latest Europe Truck Map 901.4683 -> Europe_TRUCK 901.4683
You can remove this files from the Map folder (dont worry, no loss of significant data!):
-Cphoneme.dat (Loquendo-ASR),
-CSpeech (all) (Loquendo-ASR),
-crpoi.dat,
-faces.dat (colours, landscapes, rivers, ALG info, etc)
-face.met,
-poi.dat (Copy instead your country poi.dat, it is much smaller then Europe poi.dat)

Now your Map Size is about 1.7GB -> Copy to Internal Storage

Activate Map using FastActivate (if needed, remember to update FastActivate meta filetext with Europe Truck 901.4683 *.meta and *.tmeta codes, both needed)

Copy your voices, sound, cars etc...

Wow...after TomTom Splash Screen....Welcome in TomTom Truck...select your vehicle...

i did this but basically couldnt change vehicle once it had been set up at startup, there was nowhere in the menus to change it. any ideas?

what you need to do is set a new destination, when it's all set up the last screen will tell you your vehicle set up and that is where you can change it personally i don't like this navcore i'm sticking with one that works.....

You can edit vehicle profile by Change preferences > Planning preferences > Edit vehicle profile. I find this new navcore very sluggish compared to 8398.

I have installed 9.700 on my One XL and downloaded map 901.4683, patch navcore and active map with fastactive. I have a SD socket, i have copy all but i have a error, navcore start fine but "map not found"... Any ideas ? Thks a lot

ran 9700 navcore with the new 905 map, i went into London as i figured that this would test it , and it ran perfect, had it running along side my older tomtom and it went exactly the same route for all the delivers i had to do.
the only thing i noticed was that the arrival time was longer on the new map....both tomtom's were set up with the same truck profile settings

i'm trying to install this in a tomtom one v2 and it keeps crashing...

it freezes and reboots.

I've done what tutorial says but have the new 905-4798 map.

any help?

We really do need a torrent for this ;-(

Is this the only map that works for trucks on the xxl iq routes?
