TTS Vocalizer voices (also Dutch, Italian and German)

There doesn't happen to be more English US voices are there? The Samantha voice doesn't read most street names for whatever reason. She only reads the major street names. The British voice reads them, but my brain won't like the constant reminder in non-US measurements for distances.

I have not tested this voice, but you can try it. See the first post for installation instructions. If this voice works, I'll add it to the first post. BTW, what TT model do you have?

Well, I put the Navcore and the map as shown above... TT is working like a charm !
First thing, No Voices... so Search again... and I found this topic...

So I put the "French Female - Virginie > " Voice on it and MIRACLE, Virginie speaking !!!
But just 1 problem... I don't know what to say about it...
It seems that my TT is not 100% French.... oO
90-95% is french, but sometimes I heard the word "copyrighted" or some funny words that I coudn't say witch language is.... WTF...

Well, I continue searching... but if someone know that, I take solution...

Huh... I took the french Voice 'Juliette' of my 8.351 Navcore... putted it on my 9.101 Navcore... and it works perfectly...

First, thanks for your problem and solution.

This is a known problem. There are two solutions: 1. Go back to v8 NavCore or 2. Use the v850 maps. These Vocalizer voices are actually meant for the 32MB RAM devices (like most of the ONE's and XL's). For 64MB devices (like the GO's), I would recommend the Loquendo voices. These Loqendo voices are better than the Vocalizer voices, but also require better CPU and more RAM. Therefore, for devices with 32MB RAM and a 266 MHz CPU, I made these Vocalizer voices. The Juliette voice you are using is a Loqendo voice, and is the right choice for your TomTom. But for the "Low Spec" devices, this is not an option.

Depends. Do you want IQR and ALG? Do you want the ASR en CSpeech files? Do you have only internal memory (2GB) or also an SD-card (if so, how big)?

Depends... I thought that the number with the map was the release... to have an up to dated map...
I work like this :
INTERNAL=> (navcore9) + Western Europe-815-2003
SDHC4GB=> France_850_2781 + Europe_845.2702

WE-815-2003 was the map given with my go630, so I keep it
I use the 845.2702 one because it all support IQ ALG CS ASR.... But I didn't understand yet which map is the most up to date...

I have on HD :
- Europe-845-2645 => (not tested)
- WesternCentralEurope2gb-850-2801 => (I do not use because no IQ nor ALG)
- WCE-845-2800 => (do not work.. think its for PDA)

So I'm waiting for the next up to date map of Western Europe...
Can you explain me briefly ?

I tried the English (US) - Samantha > on my Go710 with the 850 USA map and SE 9026 navcore, works fine.
