I downloaded the north DVD, tried burning it, but every burn get's stuck above 50 to 60%.
Tried imgburn with first changed : samsung DL to DVD-rom booklet.
Then opened/selected the .MDS file in imgburn and burn to 1x and 3x : both cd's got stuck after while.
Same with Nero and selected the iso file and Booklet DVD-rom.

tried it on a crossedflashed HP drive (now Samsung: SN-S083R SB01 )

anyone with helpfull hints ?

FYI, DVD-DL+ was from EMTEC.

Now I tried burning it to a Verbatim DVD-R DL disc. (on a desktop PC with a Aopen burner)
This time it completely burned the disc.
Since it was a DVD-R (not a DVD+R) DL version, I couldn't select the DVD-ROM booklet, so I used nero instead of imgburn (just the iso), I left booklet default values.
I inserted the disc in my car, when it loaded it said sometime about (loading/updating system, do not cut power...) After that it simply said can find map disc data.
So I think my car can read the disc, but it probably detected it as copied ?
Should a buy another expensive Verbatim DVD+R DL to try burning it with changed booklet (DVD-ROM) again on imgburn ?
Already toasted 4 DL discs :-(

Try using Verbatim media (DVD+R DL), and burn at low speed (2.4x) with ImgBurn.
But booktype to "DVD-ROM" is the most critical, it will NOT work without this.

Don`t try and don`t waste your time. 1:1 copy will not work without modification !!!
There is copy protection which check disk type.

which modification do you mean ? (apart from changing booklet type to dvd-rom) ?

I mean is it possible to make a backup copy ?
