@Ritchi, i know this comes a little late but yes, they do work. You just dont have all the graphic items on your screen like rivers and lakes. But at least it shows the roads correctly and it does guide you to your destination, it has always worked for me. Be sure to burn it at slow speeds! the slower, the more likely your nav system will be to read the DVDs successfully.
Just tried it in my Lexus GS300 2003 and the DVD loaded fast and without any problem.
Navigation displays the map fine and it will find the destination I want but when its about to calculate route i get message "Route could not be found"
Can anyone tell me what is wrong.?
I've used verbatim DVD+R DL, liteon drive and imgburn with bookind type set to dvd-rom.
Big thank-you to who started & maintained this post!! I managed to download all 3 images today & will test tomorrow. I have a 1 month rapidshare premium account so I am going to upload the whole files i.e. Europe north, south & east & I will make them available to those who ask (yes you can use my Rapidshare account). For the record I have simply downloaded & extracted the image & then zipped into a single file & uploaded. It may take a day or two upload but once they are up feel free to ask for details, hopefully this way can repay some of the community! My Rapidshare account is valid for 30 days, so roughly til the end of April 2014.
using links kindly provided by anthony15a I was easily able to burn North (after glueing the parts with Mastersplitter) On Philips DVD+R DL on Nero BurningRom 10 on Win8.1 on a LG GSA-4167B burner, it chose to burn at 2.4x speed as only choice. Works like a charm in my Toyota Corolla Executive 1.6 built 2004. I'm sure South and East will work as smooth, working on that now.
