Burn with Imgburn, but first need to change Book Type to DVD-ROM.
It's working 100%.

Hi,
First of all, thanks to all of you and especially who provided the link. Great.
Please ignore my lack of knowledge, but I would like to ask, after burning the DVD, what would be next step?
Where is DVD going? into CD player, or there is separate GPS unit in the car.
I just bought Avensis 03 with TNS300ETA.
I hope any of you can direct me in the right way.

Thanks for links.
Downloaded, and written using IMAGE BURN software on DVD + R DL and book type settings to DVD-ROM.

But after inserting into my TNS-300/310, only toyota navigation startup logo comes and nothing happens.

Can somebody please explain if I am doing something wrong.

Yes, you did not tell which burner, what blank media and what speed
Without that information we cannot advise you

Blank Media: DVD + R DL
Burner software: Image burn
Computer: Acer Laptop (dont know the brand name of burner)
Burning Speed: selected X2 but when process started it mentioned, target speed cannot achieve and went for X2.34.

Now in image burn when I clicked book, a small window opened.

Not all options worked and had limited options.

I tried two settings which are :

1- Selected RICOH from tabs.
Change For: Drive (For DVD + R Media)
Current settings: DVD+ R DL
New Settings: DVD-ROM

2- Selected NuTech from tabs.
Change For: Drive (For DVD + R/+R DL Media - Flash RAM!)
Current settings: DVD+ R
New Settings: DVD-ROM

With both settings, I burnt two different DVD's but none ran in the car.
I tried to try other options, but other options gave error 'unknown (FAILED!)'

I hope I am not doing anything wrong. Please be patient and advice.

Gazo thanks for your help but can you please elaborate like I wrote everything, or may be some screen shots.

I am not trying to be pain in back but thinking of other people who may benefit from your help too.

Your DVD writer in this laptop is incompatible

Thanks my friend.
I tried with LG GT20L optical drive and it worked like a charm.

When inserted in car, it took about 1 minutes to update and then hurray.
