I have done the download of the 48 files from the TNS310 version (Europe South).
Then, I made the descompression of them, and created the file "south.nrg" with no problems.
The file have 6.300.000Kb.
To save in one DVD I need one DVDwriter Double Layer?

The DVD unit in the car can read one DVD Double Layer?

Yes. You need DVD+R DL disc. Set layer break point to 1651984 for this image.

but it has only US maps.

Hello!
Finally I saved the image south.nrg to 3 or 4 dvd.

I used Nero; I used Alcoohl 120%;

First, I used DVD +R DL; Then, I used DVD -R DL

But the DVD reader in the GPS unit have a big difficult to read them.
What may I do ?

You can use DVD +R DL and burn this image in ImgBurn.
Check if your burner support booktype change and use correct layer break point value before start.
Thats all.

Isn't that piece of advice unneccessary since 3 of the 4 images have a MDS file which correctly sets the layer break at the same point as the original disc!

I burn with Nero and I don't know when may I set up this parameters.

I don't know when and where you may set up this parameters. And i don't want to purchase Nero or install illegal copy of this program for search this place.
