The Supercode DVD is only for PC5500 and PC5700 and the Pro Versions

Extract and burn to a good quality DVD5
For best results use a dvd writer from the List of Recommended Writers and use Verbatim DVD-R to minimize the risk of failure

The computer must have been unlocked to use this DVD
This so called supercode may be obtained here:
http://navigation.teleatlas.com/en/supercode/

Please note that to successfully enter the supercode the 5500 must be running SW 0950 or later
To check the SW go to Settings-System Information-Configuration

SW CD MO5712 may be required to update your system to SW 0980

I donwnload all 15 parts, but where I open the parts in ISO image the parts 1-14 have the same 3.25 Go. So, did I need to burn image ISO from all 15 parts in DVD 4.7 Go or not ?
How I must to do please.

Start Winrar and open part 1
Start extraction from there and you will have one large ISO file

Hi Gazo,
Thank you for this dvd!!

But I have also a question: I heard on another forum, that a selfmade dvd is harmfull for your navigation computer, due to the fact that it contains more errors than an original one, and therefore causing the laser to wear faster. Do you know about this?

I do not only know about it, I also warned against the use of copies
The quality of a copy never ever comeseven close to that of an original
The use of these low quality cd/dvd's is extremely harmfull to your laser and reduces its lifetime considerably
Some units are known to incur a wear in just one year that even prevents originals to be read

There are numerous people, in fact most, that will not believe it only because of the cost involved buying an original disc

Well, I will be using the copies anyway, because the originals are far too expensive for me, also because i have the unit shut down most of the time, it's like a hobby fotr me to have the system build in my car.
