this is really annoying me now.i have burned 3 discs now with all saying incompatible.not even sure if my unit is unlocked due to my earlier post.the last disc i burned with nero using the dvd-rom iso option

No need for V30 firmware, but you must have an unlocked unit. When you find the file, burn it to a good quality CD at the slowest possible speed.
Then, insert the unlock disc into your navigation unit and let it cycle through the installation process AT LEAST four times.
Then, eject the disc and insert your V9 mapping

Just use good quality discs and you shouldn't have a problem. I use IMGburn to burn my discs at 1x speed

i use verbatim dvd+r dual layer. i ran the unlock cd but it seems to just keep going on and on but not finishing loading.i get a very quick glimps of 2 yellow bars but they never get to the end,it just restarts over an over

i think we all need an tutorial with doing this thing ... ( unlocking the unit , and preparing the DVD,dual-layer... for the map , thx in advance .

Verbatim+R 4,7Gb (Only Iberia maps)
