Eastern europe fits on normal DVD. Just use free tool like imgburn to burn this on a DVD-R/DVD+R. Both types are working perfekt on my RNS

I bought a car with West Europe version 7690 installed. Now I try to replace it with Eastern Europe ver 7896, but cannot succeed. It's first time I'm installing anything to RNS510, so might be I'm doing something wrong.

I burned the image to DVD-RW and inserted the disc. It loaded up perfectly (map and navigation was working from DVD) and afterwards asked if I wanted to use it from DVD or install it to HDD (or something similar). I selected to install it and the process started. While it was almost completed, it announced "CD/DVD Error" and ejected the DVD.
Should I do something differently or is it better to try to burn just another copy? There is approximately 13GB of free space on HDD.

When I switch to map-mode, it just asks for DVD and doesn't show the Western Europe either...


My version info:
HW-version H11
SW-version 3984
map coverage, version etc - doesn't show any info any more.

Try to burn it on normal DVD (no RW) speed 2,4x.

install V9 with speed cams to version 4020 is no problem

in version 4120,5218 and 5230 are nor favorit symbols in the map

there is a error in the map

I haven't wrote that the map is working in all Firmwares at the first post, just because every mounth we have a new release that can have different bugs or options, the map will work in all Original firmwares, at least the problem is not the map but the firmware installed.

Ask at the firmwares threads if they have problems with personal POI after FW update. POIs created with the last software version so i can not do nothing to make them work in the last Beta Firmwares released.

I also confirm that i have no problem with Personal Pois in 5218 fw and V9 map.
