Hello,

I have downloaded and burned this MAP- Eastern Europe V.9 7921 map, but there is saying error. My RNS 510 is H04, HW 1T0035680A and 1T0035680B and installed SW: 1200. I have tryied to install 4020 firmware but it's saying error.

Could you please help me what SW I should install initially in my unit in order to have latest maps.

Map works normally with all Firmware Versions. So it's not neccessary to update firmware for using this map. This map is generated for using with firmware <3xxx and has pois integrated. I Firmware is >3xxx you should better use 7919 and the personalPoi-Function. If you don't need Pois its allways the best solution to use the original map, in this case 7919.

If you get an error, its to 100% a bad copy of Map-DVD. So use a recommended writer, nero burnig rom, verbatim DVD+r DL and slowest speed your writer will support. With this you can burn a good copy fo map-dvd which will work like a charm

To firmware 4020. Your device is a c4a-device. with this device you can install the 3810a_noru from Josi to get the PersonalPoi-function and break the limit of 2GB of SD-Card, if your reader can. The only advantage of the 4020 is the radiotext.

7919 is final release and 7921 is modified version of final release (speedcams included).
7896 is a modified version of a earlier beta-release of map.

I have successfully upgraded Firmware from 1200 to 3810a_noru, and tried both Maps 7919 and 7921 but it saying error on reading these Maps, while on the other Car these Maps are readable. I don't think that I made mistake on burning them. I have the burned them on the lowest speed with DVD Burner Asus DRW-1814DBL, DVD Verbatim +R DL and Alcohol 120% ver.7.

What should I do in order to be able to have this MAP running :-).
