Video in Motion / TV Free for RNS 510 via software update

Hello friends,
there are a lot of expensive ways of enabling Video in motion for VW RNS 510 unit, like buying a special software for 500 euros or special Kufatec adapter etc.

But i also know for sure that it is possible to make it work via software upgrade. I have one friend who is doing these things and i know for sure that he is doing that via software upgrade.

Have searched the internet and here is what i have found:

And having in mind that TEST MODE line works as written here and this is tested, and it is permanent, not one time access:
Accessing the Setup Menu on RNS 510 head units with firmware version 2660 / 2662 / 2664 / 2666 / 2668 | my-gti.com

Then meybe TV Free line would also work.

My passat did not arrive yet and i can not test that yet, so i would like to know if anyone has tried that method or wants to try and share the details?

I suppose it is needed just to add these lines to these files:
for VW - eurpqto.wsh
for Skoda - eurskhdd.wsh

DeleteRegData(0x8EE,0x89)

or meybe

yes, there was a lot of talking there, but nothing but talks...
Nobody confirmed if it is 100% working or not working...

Or meybe you can confirm if this medhod is working or not for sure? Meybe you have found the final answer there which i have missed, because i did not find it, although i have read all the forums a lot of times...

I'm sorry but it isn't possible just with firmware update. Cutting Speed information is located into crypted eeprom. No solution with firmware update.
You need special cable or one guy that can do that for you

There are numerous firms that can program the RNS510 for a permanent VIM solution without an adapter.
The programming is done with a laptop or notebook

Yes you are right. Person who has a special program can do that in a seconds.
That is why i am looking for a solution so i could do that myself
And there is some easier way other than spending minimum 600 euros for a program...
The same thing as buying original navigation dvd or downloading it from this site
The one who does not search does not have...
