    Changed map colour scheme

Could someone please confirm that the attached images can be viewed, I am not sure if the site I am using for my image storage is letting me post links to my images.

    Thanks in advance.

    brian.

Changed the links for you and want to comment that the layout/colour scheme is awfull
Another one of these modifications and you will have your typical Chinese Double DIN iGO or Kenwood Teletubbie display.

    Hi Gazo,

Thanks for helping out with the links, could you please tell me how you made the link work for future use ?

Re the awfull colour scheme, I am just using any old primary colour which is bold for now while I experiment with how to change colours in various screens, once I am happy with my methods I will tone the colours down a bit but your comments are always welcomed.

    Nothing wrong with Teletubbies :-)

    Cheers.

I have just edited the message, and clicked on the link and then re-entered the link
I think the fault lies with the forum software

    Re: Changed map colour scheme

Ok, thanks again for your help, I am leaving my day map colours as original and customising the night file only so I can switch between them for now.

I don't like the VW yellow roads scheme, I will probably use the Google maps UK colours for my night file as I never used the night mode anyway.

Major problem is that map RGB colours look a bit different on my calibrated PC monitor than they do when loaded into the RNS510 so getting lots of exercise going to and from the car :-)

I am getting reasonably close to Google map colours on my PC just need to fine tune a bit.

The images posted here are subject to some slight colour shift due to finding it hard to get an accurate white balance value on my camera that matches the RNS510 Screen colour temp.

    Cheers.

    Brian.
