Help wanted: Volvo RTI Navigation Europe - 07w20 CD

This is the 2007 version. The latest (and apparently last!! according to Volvo dealership) version on CD is Volvo part no: 31310437 and is updated till june 2009. Again 26 CD´s.
I have been trying to find this edition on the net, but without any luck so far. Just wondering if the DVD version can be transferred/converted to CD??Anyone??

No that is impossible

The recently published version is not updated until June 2009 but is dated 2009.1
The actual database is from mid 2008!

You (Volvo) makes cars that "last a life-time" and stops support for the nav. system after 8 years, is it just my perception that this is a bit strange and not very client friendly
Upgrading of the complete system seems not possible (change the CD to DVD), so your only option will remain the use of an external navigation system

Usually a period of 6-8 years is maintained as support for a system
Volvo has just issued a CD version, possibly to avoid legal action similar to the threat psoed by angry Nissan owners with the support stop on their X 6.0 systems only months after they stopped fitting these units in 2006

in this link have this lot of cds.. of volvo.

I have downloaded the cds... and i have burnt cd 2008-2009 spain .portugal with nero and it was ok.
But when i check the files of the cd, hapenned that the cd is empty. No files are detected.
If i check the file os the iso file, ultraiso cant open the iso...
The same happen with the cd 2007 week 20 of the post 1 of this topic... which will be the problem?

Hi Pascalll,

The images can't be read by your computer. Just burn slow and put it in your cars navi-device...
I'll try to download the cd's, but I think it's same as 2007wk20....I'll let you know.

I just joint this forum and I have a Volvo V70. I love to have an upgrade for my navi. My disk are original (2001) but want to have the latest version. Can somebody help me? I need CD's for my system. Where can I download these? the link does not work anymore.
