Is there a way I can find out the version of the Software on my CBCD (which I think is the same as CNI2)?

I know I am running v29 of the maps but I don't know what the core software is?

Also - if I didn't know the version of the maps, is there a way to find this out as well? If I put the v29 disc in it doesn't do anythinng. If I put my old disc in it says that its an older version but not what version..

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
    Paul

Although both units are made by Siemens VDO they are far from identical.
They do use the same software though, that is all!

        Re: Navigation Software

Why do we have to point others to topics that have already been discussed.
This forum, as do most, has a search function
I strongly advise you to use it rather than only ask questions and wait till some silly sod is replying

          Re: Carminat informee II (CB-CD)

If I put my map CD in it doesn't do anything... Does it have to be a software CD to see the version?

Where can I get the software CD's? I can only find map CD's

          Thanks

so there is NO way to tell the software version then?

Why have you suddenly changed to another thread?
              It is confusing and annoying!
I moved your post back to where it belongs

It must be a SW cd

I urge you to stick to the thread you started yourself and not suddenly changing threads with the same problem
This is the 2nd time you are doing this
                    Quite annoying and confusing!
