    Re: [moved] GPSFix

Use link below (not 100% sure but GlobalLocate should be yours)

For devices with Global Locate chipset
    Code:
    http://home.tomtom.com/download/Ephemeris.cab?type=ephemeris&eeProvider=globalLocate&devicecode=1
    For devices with SiRFStarIII chipset
    Code:
    http://home.tomtom.com/download/Ephemeris.cab?type=ephemeris&eeProvider=SiRFStarIII&devicecode=1
Download the file. It's a windows cabinet file so you need a file manager that can extract from a .cab file. Copy the files into your ephem folder on the tomtom. Done!

Thanks for the link, the first one worked a treat, TTHome updated the quickGPSfix after copying the files into the emph folder.

      Great job

Hmmm - TT Home should provide you with the GPSfix updates even if you're not signed in so their account <- -> device bundle isn't active. Just skip the login if it asks

Sometimes TTH is just not willing to update. You can either update manually (d/l the files and copy them to a tt) or do a trick cleaning the archive ephemeris files from tth folder on your pc, then puting any old working ephemeris to tt ephem folder and perform update via TTH. In most cases updates are successful afterwards.
