Tomtom GO 720 & maps 850.XXXX

hello

I have a TT GO 720 OS 9351 and am looking to install a map europe 850.XXX
I did several tests with different maps and does not work, I working with excellent Alberts Easy Activator, but it does not work consistently.
I looked at the card compatibility, I tried the 2820, the 2781 ...

Hey acer1969,

By OS do you mean Navicore? Did you check compatibility with your navicore? Is your navicore cracked? If it is out of date or uncracked, that could be the major reason. When putting a new navicore on your TomTom, first backup then delete everything on it. Doing a soft reset before doing each step can help. Make sure your using the right meta for cracking/ keygen for anything.

NOTE: i found that patching the map while it was on my pc was giving me problems, i moved it to the root of my TomTOM and patched it directly in there, if that helps.

you say : 8351 works with 2781 and 2820 (but you must patch your navcore and activate maps)
question :
Patch your navcore ? (sorry, i'm going out.. )
activate maps ? with easy activator ?
i have want make this map : GPSU_Western_Europe_1GB_850_2820, bur no meta for this

Patch a Navcore sometimes isn't that easy for newbie, even for me.
Last week I tried to run TTkeygen2009 to patch this 8351 for GO 730 and failed. The program say need original navcore.
Finally I use Easyusetools to patch the navcore. But for the maps on SD card, none of them works.

?? Weird....

I've never had problems patching my 720 on a SD card. I only use Alberts,
which might explain why I have very few issues. I've never used any
type of keygen. As a matter of fact, i've patched PPC's-Smartphones-
and bout every model TomTom's ever made. Alberts works 100% of
the time.

Last thing I do.... use yDGpatch for home....and it's all done

This is exactly what I am attempting to do but I do not have enough room in the root drive of my tomtom to copy the new maps over. I have already deleted the folder containing the old map. I have NavCore V8.351 and old map version 70 5.1481. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I am leaving on a trip Friday...

I was able to empty the cspeech files for all states and install the maps successfully. Thanks to all for their help!
