  • Problems with Go 930 and Nav9.101

Hi there i am not able to use the tmc function on my go 930 with Nav 9.101
Even though my Cell has an internet Flatrate.
My TT builds a connection to the Cell but only as an audio device and it does not use the internet connection ;(
Is there a way to use TMC on my device??

    Hi yuriyggg,
I do have also a tmc antenna but dont get any information over it
There isnt any option for the tmc antenna on the 9.101.

Or am i totally mislead in that???

Well and the other reason for my interest in using my internet is the option of getting weatherdata and the possibility of using google, too

TMC uses the RDS signal transmitted by FM radio stations. You need a TMC antenna (jack plug or USB) in order to receive it.
What you are referring to is the Tomtom Live services or HDTraffic. The latter system used a charger with a modem and Tomtom SIM card and could be used with a 930T. The first system is working only with TOmtoms with built-in modem and Tomtom SIM card. It is not going to work with a telephone at all.

Have you tried pairing your phone with your 930? The standard code is 0000 but if the phone does not accept that, you can force the tomtom to use a different code. Put a file called btpin.txt in the root of your tomtom with the bluetooth PIN code you want to use on your phone.
